No. 4 - Visit Other Churches
Once you know that the Lord is directing you to expand your ministry through a building project, it is
wise to get ideas from other similar-sized buildings. If "a picture is worth a thousand words," then one
can understand how important seeing other projects can be. For pastors, this is usually not a problem
and many of them have already visited other facilities that provide inspiration. However, it might be
important to send some of the building committee members out to visit other buildings so that they can
see, firsthand, some comparable facilities. For some building committee members, it may be important
to gain an appreciation for the magnitude of the undertaking on which they are about to embark.
